Short Description:Examines the effects of comprehensive intervention programs on students' college preparedness.
Annotation:The first in a series of planned analyses, this study examines the overall impact of comprehensive intervention programs (CIP’s) on students’ college preparedness, as demonstrated by reading and mathematics abilities. The project focuses on outcomes related to the philosophical, policy, and structural concepts, activities, and services embodied in GEAR UP and other CIP’s, with the intent to advance general knowledge about the educational attainment process.
