Annotation:Fifteen prominent U.S. business organizations have joined together to express their deep concern about the United States' ability to sustain its scientific and technological superiority through this decade and beyond. To maintain the nation's competitiveness in the 21st century, it will be necessary to cultivate the skilled scientists and engineers needed to create tomorrow's innovations. The goal of this business roundtable group is to double the number of science, technology, engineering and mathematics graduates with bachelor’s degrees by 2015.
